Anglins 6/7/08 (This Saturday), NEWBIE NEEDS HELP :-)

Hi All!

I'm a surf / pier fishing newbie

I managed to catch few fish from the pier but no success from the beach so far.
I would like to go fishing on Saturday, and could sure use some company / mentoring

I would really like for someone to show me the ropes. Teach me to cast properly. Etc.

I also go fishing every day after work. I live on A1A south of Oakland Park, and walk the beach every afternoon from 6pm to 8pm. I was casting a little lure yesterday right in front of barracudas. Nothing

Anyways, let me know if you can help me out. Either pier or from the beach works for me. Any day from now till Saturday.

Welcome to the fourm. You will like fishing at Anglins. A lot of members fish there and will be glad to point you in the right direction. Nick, Rob, and Keith are usually there Saturdays.

i might pop in and i might give Keith a call asking him to give you some mentoring trust me hes really good at what He does.

roofing is what he does but hes pretty good at fishing.

Keith is consider the wise old cheif of pier. You must bring gifts to please the fishing god.

Keith is a good guy.

Bolo, correction. . .BF is the wise old chief of the pier or possibly Roofer Dave. I'm just a guy who shows up a lot and gleans info from the real oldtimers.

yeah Keith isn't old ha he is as young as ever and yes you must pay tribute to to the god's he will take one pound of live scrimp at sunrise.

I'm not saying I'm young exactly, just relatively new to fishing Anglins when you consider there are people on this site who literally grew up there.
