Those green and whote clousers on the bottom should be killer. Crazyhook, where do you flyfish for musky? I fish Namakagon Lake, Clam Lake, Tiger Cat Reservoir, and Chippewa Flowage in Norther WI everyyear, as well as some places along Lake St. Clair. I wouldn't dare flyfish in LSC otherwise the spinfisherman might pull out a 9mm on me (you know how it is) and I've never just given it a try in WI.
I have to though. It would be a lot of fun, although cast and search with a 10wt could get tiresome.

Thanks man! going to give the Clousers a try first when I get down!
As for musky I live right behind the Rideau river and the Ottawa is 20 minutes away. I can get to the St Lawrence in an hour as well...
There are some smaller musky lakes around here with little pressure that I plan on fly fishing this year. Have never caught one, last year I had 2 follows and hooked on that got off. You are right it can be alot of work!
To be honest with ya... no self respecting tarpon will turn down any of those well tied morsels... Bones might think twice, but if they havent seen the fear or felt the steel with the sun at ur face u will fool one or two. Problem with the tarpon aint hooking em, its digging them out from their well thought out escape plans, takes some hardcore fly gear... remember they are kings, so bow.
Ive caught snapper on like patterns, its a hoot, especially if its shallow clear water (hard to find in the keys, but not impossible). Suspend them, twitch, dart, fish ON! Remember... fishy here like chartuese and PINK, pink is king... something to do with south beach being near... lol ^_^
