Yeah they tend to be full of sh!t at times. There were 17ft skiffs out and about. One boat came next to us later in the afternoon and it was probably no bigger than 18ft. It was a much nicer day than last weekend that's for sure.

gota watch out when they say its gona b calm, there might be 10 ft swells. when they say 3 could be 6. when they say 6 it could be flat, or it could be 6

There were some pretty good size swells coming through but the period was loooonnng. From Saturday afternoon on the wind had been out of the west at < 10 knots. I imagine farther offshore it was still pretty sporty. NOAA has real time reports from their buoys and some ships reporting. http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/

King coming off the smoker in 30, I cants wait any longer.

didn't find the big guy this time, we managed 2 kings 2 muttons, Jareds African pompano, Doug got a nice almaco and a rainbow runner was caught by Brandon. nice calm seas today with stupid weird current.
