I was there an hour after you Chris. Between yesterday, last nite and this morning, it's worse I believe.

Not sure if we will be open tomorrow, the swell has not come down at High yet as of this morning.

The Tee will not be open for a little while, yes Chris the tee took more of a beating, east rail was destroyed.

I believe the swell will calm tonight and as soon as it does will repair planks to the tee.

Fixed it all yesterday afternoon and blew out as many last night and this morning, no point until it calms.

I finally got down to spanish river at 10 am sunday, and it was crazy is all i can say. No beach just surge at high tide blasting all the way to the seagrapes. checked boca inlet too and it was clear at high tide waves were creasting the inner sea walls. Lots of trash and coffe colored discharge water. :toast:

The local driftboats and if Lake Worth is open will score some dolphin this week.
Dreaming the dream that one day I can be as good as some of the boatless pros and catch some 12 inch mangrove snapper.

When I walked out to the T with no one fishing and found the live mullet flopping on the deck I realized how bad it was lol.

Yea right the mullet was jumping up on the pier to get away from the swells, LOL

My understanding Lake worth pulled there sections out in preparation for the storm so all they have to do is lay them back in, they were thinking ahead and good move.

Got to anglins about 7am yesterday ,,, didnt see anyone on the pier so we figured it was closed,,, so we pulled up to the wall and some guy I hear is the owner starts yelling at us to get the hell out of there,,, I yelled back we are leaving and he started yelling at us to get the hell out of there and then proceeded to tell the parking lot attendant to charge us 10 bucks to park ,,, we were just calling the friends we were going to meet out there to fish not to come,,,, I cant beleive we pay 24 bucks just for me and my son-in-law to fish there 7 a head and 10 bucks for parking to take that kind of abuse from the ungreatful owner... I dont think we will be going back anytime soon,,, I can spend my money where it is appreciated .

Now ya know why nobody parks in the lot. You can park in one of the metered spots on the street for about half price and not worry about getting parked in or getting dinged by someones door. The readers never get there before 8:00.
And yeah, the guy's a real beaut. But that's a common problem with most of the piers in Broward.
Nice Boat! Now get it outa my driveway!

I hit a lot of the piers and I am never treated rudely,,,, this was just uncalled for,, we were just calling friends to tell them not to come because the pier was closed,,, we might have even eaten there because we were already there,,,, I am in business and would never be that rude to any customer... I talk to alot of people while out fishing who say they dont go there because its so expensive but I never minded paying but when the owner of the establishment treats you like that then its a problem,,, the guys who work there are top rate and I have nothing bad to say about any of them they are truly a great bunch of guys but its the owner that reaps the profits and its just sad that he would treat anyone like that.
