Post by Backwoods123 »

got out to to channel 5 around 8:45 lastnight wih my girlfriend, not to many people out there... make a long story short caught t he limit of 10 grovers all of which came of the pilings with live pins.. no casting out to the power poles was for muttons sucked, becaue every cast was a catfish  every single cast couldnt keep a bait in the water for a minute witout a catfish eating it, i tried all diff kinds of bait they wouldnt leave me alone.. now he highlight of the night was when i was sittng down this guy comes righ up to where im fishing and tosses his jig with a chunk of ballyhoo on it rght in my chum slick in between my rods an tangles my rod, and wen i said somthing he said he can fish wherever he wants, to mind my buisiness, and i came unglued  im glad my gf was there so things didnt get out of hand, but i was ready to throw this guy off th bridge, it amazes me how ignorant people can be.

Very nice... The dinner sized grovers never disappoint if you know how to fish for em down there. As far as tonite, stay home, low pressure system which may turn nautical on top of us again! Soon after, the bite should be on though, hit me up!

I get pissed and let it be known with the flats boat fisherman who show NO regards and NO respect to myself when fishing. They have that "since you're on a bridge and I'm on a boat I'm better than you attitude" and it's sickening and puts me over the edge.

I don't go throwing sinkers or flying objects at them. But you better believe I make their fishing experience not a great one. It's a two way street with me, you respect me and my area and everything's fine, don't come near me thinking you own the place or are of some high authority when you are just a regular fisherman like myself.

Ive had a FEW boat fisherman and sometimes on land who are respectable about fishing near me and go the right away about it and those I have absolutely no problem with.

we had one boat do that to us at sebastin one time that 3 of us caught his anchor and we had it on the pier , we told him we would give it back if he backed off , he replied he would set it back to were it was so we dropped it in the rocks at the end of the pier , he would have to damage his boat to get it back , he finally cut the rope and left
