For all that have not been check out this section of the forum it has the threads from all our Clean ups.

Guys I just noticed we have done 9 of them, That is so cool, Thanks everyone for giving a hoot and Thanks fishyface for being the start of this A Big Thanks goes to you.

I'll probably go down Saturday and fish Channel 2 until the cleanup if anyone else wants to fish.

They are almost done with the bridge. From what I saw they are missing the aluminum rails to the platforms. They build a trail from Ann's Beach to north side of Channel 5. The place looks very nice with the landscaping they put in. There are also aluminum rails to prevent people fishing on the side of Channel 2. This is great since that is where most dirty garage are. Of course this won't stop the pigs from littering anyways. I give it two months before it goes to crap.

Less then that. I fished Long Key the very first day it opened, I was probably one of the first 5 or 10 people to fish it. When I walked out on the bridge it was pristine. When I walked back to the car the next day, there was trash everywhere...squid boxes, bottles, dead eels, etc, etc...often less then 10 feet from a trash can. People are absolutely disgusting.

This weekend on Long Key someone planted a big pile of sh*t near the garage bin. By the looks of the crap it was a Hispanic person who did it.

Will we be doing strictly cleanup or also educate with pamphlets and so forth?

And if so who could bring a pack of rules&regs?

I could ask my boss if I can use the design printer and print a 100 or so. She will not say no that's for sure.

I'm worried that if we distribute 100 copies of the rules and regs, we will just be cleaning them up next time we do the cleanup.

If I come down to fish the evening before he wont be with me. He'll be bored out of his mind, but if I just come down for the cleanup he may join. He does like hanging out with everyone. I want to get April to come down as well, but that's doubtful.

No, I think we should cook hot dogs and hamburgers. There is no guarantee we will catch a permit the morning of the cleanup to throw on the grill.

Rory i think he meant a permit from the cunty or something to be allowed to fish their unless you're just being sarcastic.

And no, I don't think we need any kind of permit from the county to have a cookout.
