South Migration

Post by jbt12282 »

The beaches are closed due to thousands of Black Tips, Bulls, and Spinners - anyone brought in any big dogs yet? :reeling:

...and Black Tip meat is really that good? :chef:

I don't know about the bigger blacktips, but the small ones say 3 to 4 feet.....it's AWESOME if you clean it and ice it right away when caught!!

Fished Hutchinson Island today. Never seen so many surf fisherman in my life. Whitting, pomps, and bluefish were on the menu. Saw Spinner sharks free jumping.

There are no pompano around singer island, there was when it was really cold but they have gone back north. Tips just go there and hang out this time of the year every year. There might be macks around but we havent been getting them at Juno and isnt very far from Singer Island.

I caught 0 Pomps. I caught two whitting and a bluefish, and all I could think was use um for bait. There are no fleas from Boca Raton to Hutchinson Island. Everyone is using shimp and clams.

Soaked a fresh blue runner and jack off Singer Island last night for about 30 min. NO BITE. It was only 30 min. and it was low tide, however I though I would be on once the bait hit the water after looking at the video/news. Oh well.
