Juno Fishing Pier Reports 2010 "Reports Only"

everyone juno pier is really hot! thousands of Spanish Mackeral you get one almost every cast. All of the commerical fishing boats are around the pier because there are so many fish. Huge tripletail 10lb-20lb on the piling near the T, all you need is live shrimp and little weight if any. There getting limits of nice Pompano in the surf on goofy jigs. get out there while the fish are still biting!!!

I went there right after my last post. It was horrible not one fish was caught for 4-7 pm. thats while I was there. I guess the wind changed.

I saw zero fish water or pier. Except for spooked triple tails sitting on the bottom.

None of them were out today.

There hasnt been a Cobia seen in at least a week. I wasnt there today but I heard of a couple Cubera and that was it.

Agreed wait till it is NE up here. While I was there on Mon. I only caught 1 small mac. only 3 others caught.

There was two keeper Cobia caught last night right before dark, and one small Cubera this morning and those are the only three fish I know that were caught there the last two days. The tripletail left and there hasnt been any macks or pompano at all when I have been there. The wind needs to switch back to the NE before you can expect fishing to get good again.

Ok, Thanks Guys!! I see that the weather channel is calling for NE winds tomorrow and again on Sat. Sat would be the first day I could get there, so hopefully they will be back then!!

Make sure you check the weather the nite before or even before you head out saturday morning. The weatherman has been known to be full of shite.
