Pompano Beach, near the pier, Saturday Nov 4

I'll be at the Pompano Pier Beach about sunrise, for 3 hours or so.

Rain or shine, it don't matter, I'll be there, so if you're around, stop and chat. Or better yet, fish.

A friend is going to meet me there also, said he was going to show me how his KITE FISHING works. Should be cool.

I may also launch a message in a bottle if I'm there when the tide starts to go out.

Just may make it a foursome. It is actually My B-Day, so If I make it, whisper me a quiet happy B-Day and offer me an alka Seltzer...lol

Probably tossin atri's to the surfline, but will bring a surf caster to spike up for one of Tommy's sand flea 101's..Catch rig n reel .....lol

man its was great to see some guys from the forum there. the wind was rippin really bad. not to many people showed up cause the weather but hey its was worth it. happy b day cookin man it was also my bday present to myself to get out there my b day is tommorrow the 5 th.

My Present to me was to fish that day also. I was out there for a bout a half hour between 5:30 and almost 6.

Rods never made it out of the car. a Pal who had cancelled a fishing plan, calld and said he coulkd make it, so seeing conditions, I beat feet to the spillway.

Got a few short strikes with Med AVG sized snook, not many mullett around as tide was way high. Fished fishless at both gates, then headed West to try to get on the NBC Tourney boards at a few favorite W Broward canals and again NADA.....One really nice Blowup on a Skitterwalk ( Yes I fish Large baits in freshwater often) smacked it hard enough to send it skyward and never found it again when it landed...maybe tasted a bit of metal....who knows....But that was the end of my excitement. Threw flukes, slow and jerked em. Spinnerbaits in the chop, Slow large worms crawdads and even carolina rigged for a deep drop off that Almost ALWAYS has large Hydrilla Gorillas hanging tight.....X raps, almost anything to cover the entire water table....Still nothing really....Figured I'd just get some home time in, since fishing in that wind was really tiring.

Was home with beakfast and a nice expresso by 9:30 A

Anyone catch anything this weekend?

I think Tuesday is gonna be the day based on the Winds / Weather / approaching Front on WED.
