This area is for Shark'in Reports from all over, These reports must be catch and Release if you've gone shark'in put them here. All photos of sharks must be alive, there will be no tolerance for Photos of Dead Sharks.

It is an oar fish. I posted something on this previously. It weird, It swims vertically.

Couple years back I found a five footer just like that washed up on Hobe Sound Beach. It was an oarfish...not a ribbonfish. Cool pic tho, i didnt know they got that big!

FOUND ONE YEAR'S AGO WASHED UP ON THE PORT MANSFIELD JETTY'S.
THOUGHT ABOUT NOT SPINDING THE NIGHT ANYMORE OUT THERE.
DIDN'T WANT IT CRAWLING IN MY SLEEPING BAG WITH ME AT NIGHT.
NOW I KNOW ,THEY COME FROM WAY OFF SHORE TO ( DIE ) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cool report . Steve , do you have any pictures , or how big was it . Port Mansfield is my old stomping grounds . I understand it is now newly dredged .
