Firstly...
THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone that offered to help out Sunday. We really need the help. I will get to the pier at about 8am to setup. 9am for the kids. We will talk for a while under the pier... and start fishing 930/945 ish.. until about noon.

WE AREN'T CLOSING OFF THE PIER. It will just be a little busier than usual. We are expecting 80+ people, more than half are kids. Yes.. that's a lot of extra people. I will tell them to stay off the "T" and out of the way of the serious fisherman. But we all have the same rights to use the space. The other group you are referring too was the IGFA or boyscouts or something.. this is our first pier event.

If the Pomps are in short supply this November, could it be due to the 4 commercial baitmen that raked the beach for fleas for 3 days straight 2 - 3 weeks ago from the pier north to the breakwater? Where there were fleas in the surf, now they're none.

Fished dania today from 0600h-0730h winds NE @ 15-16. No mac, no blue, no pomps. Tried sandflea and jig, no success. Will try again later this afternoon

Been some nice Macks and keeper Muttons during the week. Night time there have been Bluefish and the normal reef patrons. May have to do a little crowd control tonight and do some reduction on the Snook population. They keep seeing me seeing them and they give me the fin. Time for another one of them overrated Stripsters to get free room and board in my cooler.

Word is that over the summer, the Snook were overly horny, and they produced far too many Snoobies. I am here to help control the balance of life. I shall be reducing the number of Snook population even more the next 13 days until they are where they should be.

Night time there are big pilchards around. I see Snook all the time later at night. Nobody fishes for them. Someone has to do it. I get bored, so figure I'll pop a few before season closes for 9 months.

No idea how the last 2 days were. But saturday had a few nice macks and a nice king. Sunday, large macks. I see huge macks and skyrocketing kings every day I work. They have been out of range, but they are a constant. Ballyhoo are azz deep out there.
