Went to town on lady fish, jacks and blue runners tonight. Managed to net a few mullet, one of which got slammed by something that broke me off on rocks.

No sign of the big mullet pods yet. It's getting awful late.

I second that post ^ a ton of pilchards out there late in the afternoon with a couple mullet in the mix. Not too much out there except lady fish, jacks, and runners. The guys at the end of the jetty caught a huge cuda tho. If you're looking to stock up on shark bait, this is the place to be!haha

Big schools of mullet passing by getting pounded by tarpon or sharks, it was too far off to tell. Tons of bluefish every cast. Overall, a nice day out, perfect way to take a break from school.

Second that! Plenty of mullet passing through between 7-830ish. Most of the large schools were beyond casting range of the jetty. A few schools did however move close enough allowing for easy netting. I however stuck to the bomber lure and went 3-6 on snook. I would say the mullet run is ON!

The Big one is mine, right at 32". Small one is right at 28" epic night. Fish were caught on live mullet and bomber lure. Only three guys fishing and each something to celebrate about !!!!

I hit WPB, Juno, and Jupiter beaches this morning... totally blown out!... 5-7' waves and 25mph NNE wind... no sign of mullet schools.

The FL Sportsman EXPO was pretty good tho... got some more tips... :-)

Good catch man. Question: Was the asian crowd trying to get you guys to auction your catch off? Last time I was there those guys kept trying to drop bids on my buddy's slot fish. Told em to buy a snook stamp and catch their own. lol FWC officers could probably meet their months quota in one night if the walked out onto that jetty...

Nice fish guys! I've been meaning to get down there and fish. I haven't fished that inlet much though.. If anyone is looking for someone to fish with and help land fish, catch bait, etc. I'm free almost every morning or evening. Post here or PM if you're feeling so generous. I'd love to learn how to catch some snook here on this coast (I'm from St. Pete/Tampa so the fishery is pretty different there vs. here).
