Nice job. Fish deeper and you don't have to deal with those pesky pain in the ass tarpon. Not that I have to tell you, just saying. Thats why I don't like circle hooks when fishing there with live bait. Easy to cup the spool and fray off the tarpon without losing a lot time or line.

3/3 on snook all just shy of keeper Went 0/3 on Tarpon, they were a lil bigger than the night before and more aggressive. My buddy had one slot looking snook cut through 50 flour. at the boat. Wind picked up just before the outgoing tide stared to pick up, we only had about 30 mins good fishing.

You can get them under the bridge from land just gotta know where to look. Im goin tonite the winds are suppose to let down to about 10-12mph SSE then shift to S around midnight. High tide is midnight so hopfully the bites fired up. Ill post report in other section tomorrow.

Want to have some real fun fish them from the top of the bridge. Its a 2 or 3 man operations but its quite interesting.
Just have to watch the cars and people throwing stuff at you as you fish but this boatless fishing so I'm sure most have been hit with some kind of object. I will admit bananas really hurt. maybe the guys throwing them think it kill the bite or something. 2 we've been assulted with bananas.
Luckily all the drunks throwing bottles or cans have missed. Thats why I rarely fish major road ways anymore.

Been there done that but not from the 20th floor. It was the 18th floor of the Palm Bay club which over hangs the marina. lets just say many trash fish( large cudas also) where dropped to there death.
Halover is only around 5 stories. Jumped off it many years ago. So its not really at life threatening heights? Nice to have a boat waiting for if you try it. Although these days you might get arrested if you jump or end up in the mental hospital! US = police state soon. Top CEO's with limited salaries will leave for foreign companies and being #1 will be gone forever!

lots of pomps out there on friday and saturday. limited out in 30 min. alot of a-holes, so i had to do it from the beach. great to be away from the crowd and still catch fish.

I have never seen people lose their minds so completely as they do over pompano.

people go crazy over pomps cuz it doesnt require a great fisherman to catch them and when their thick, it just friggin rediculous. people like fast action, and pompano will surely entertain anyone, including the highly populated googans that surround us

hey man make sure you know what a fish is before you keep it can get a big ticket over the wrong size or type of fish if you go to http://www.myfwc.com i am sure someone has the direct link but you can pick up a regulation book up with pictures of common species and size limits on them there for free.Also think i seen some of these reg books at anglers bait&tackle.Like i said someone will post the direct link if i find it i will.Oh and theres big mangos out on the reefs and decent sized ones around the piers so yea they are definitely ocean dwellers they also like bridges ,seawalls and yup mangroves.
