3/14 Got 3 snook 1 keeper and 1 nice tarpon slack tide midnight.

by the bridge or by the tip of jetty?

Jetty, I planned on going early saturday morning like 4am but it looks like the weather aint in my favor.

Yes. I have a boat also and when the tides around midnight till about 4m at slack tide i seem to catch more snook and tarpon under the bridge. All depending on the weather.

When i go in the boat i try to plan the tide when its late at nightand the wind is calm, the current is very fast there and i dont fish there when its like that i go to the 125th bridge, theres alot of snook there but theve been shorties. You have to fish slack tide at the haulover bridge and you got about a 45 min window so be rigged and ready. Also you gotta have someone that can drive the boat lol, the last tarpon i caught i had to chase down and i finally landed him about 150 yards away from the bridge.

When its really windy ill fish the jetty or the piers in broward

No, it does NOT have to be slack tide.Lots of fish on the incoming and outgoing tide.I rather have current or a strong current than a slack or lack of tide.Just my 2 cents

The current is to fast there you have to fish just as it slows down and slack tide. I got 8 tarpon last night, landed 5 and one just under slot snook. As soon as the outgoing tide picked up the bite turned off.
