Zach,

You're a good writer. You may have what it takes for the dream job: fishing and writing about it. You sould submit your article to a magazine.

I've got a friend who's into custom cars, motorcycles, and bicycles. He's been in a half dozen magazines. He writes something up, includes a few photos and sends it in. They publish it every time.

The magazines are dying for content. They like it even more if it's free. Get published a few times, then you have a portfolio. Start a blog. Talk it up and develop a fan base. Then work it into a column or freelance work.

That's my idea of a dream job.

Good luck,

Charlie

I am glad that there are teams and people like yourselves out there, because thats what sharking needs right now..
People that know what they are doing and show that they care for sharks in general and are able to come across without
looking like thugs.....that are out there for power trip...thank you :toast:
Thanks a lot everyone! we worked for years to get this fish and it did a lot for us to watch it swim away to help re populate the area, maybe my kids will one day play with her kids. As for the catch of a lifetime, yes it is...for now, you all better believe Team Rebel will be pushing harder than ever before to break our own mark now, records stand to be broken and that will be our next conquest. Thanks again to everyone on BF, great feedback helps give us the drive to go out and do it again, and we love to be able to get new or young anglers excited about going out and doing this themselves one day and enjoy sharks, shark fishing , and catch and release is a responsible manner.
