West Coast Lemons 4/15/10

Go WEST - Other wise deal with 6 to 8ft crushing seas with a tough head wind for kayaking. Loaded up and drove to the west coast with William.


Found a spot and went to work after meeting up with sharker33701.


Sun went down, we were dug in and the guns were loaded with full metal jackets.

sharker33701 was the 1st to land a 7ft 5in lemon, though he almost lost it around a crab trap bouy.


Followed by my 7ft 6in. Lemon on my newest rod a few hours latter. A custom rebuild of a 552 Harnell.


Hit another spot in the morning and had a great time, however no sharks. Probably better off since we had to drive home with practically no sleep and surviving on the fumes of Monsters.

What blank are those rods? and how much did it cost in total?

good job. just wondering but do you yak several baits out at a time. or do you drop one bait, come back in for the next like that.

The blank is a Harnell 552 and most baits were taken out 1 at a time, except for the double drop at about 3am.
