I release all my shark catches, in hopes of hooking up with them again when they are bigger. I do it strictly for the fight, but so many people down on the beach comment on how shark meat tastes great as long as it is cleaned properly. I imagine it takes some work to clean a 5 foot shark, but so many people swear it is among the best sea food they've ever had.

mad bull there!

i somtimes eat bronze whalers and they are quite similar to blacktip sharks to my understanding. though im not sure with taste, but depending on how bronze whaler is cooked, i have found it to taste like chicken.

personally i find shark in general to be overated.
