I DONT KNOW ABOUT THE LAW BUT NORMALLY THE ONE WITH THE MOST $$$$$$ WINS AND THAT MEANS THE CONDO OR THE BEACH HOUSE YOU ARE TRYING TO FISH IN FRONT OF TO BAD FOR US

Hey Guys!

I know this subject has been discussed before on several boards - but I could'nt find what I was looking for.

What are the FL regulations/laws regarding a fisherman's right to fish on the beach? I seem to recall that it/was/is something to the effect that one can fish the beach at or below the high tide/water mark/line,..... is this correct?

Also does anybody have a/any link(s) to any FWC information on this subject?

the law reads not by the high tide line but "wet sand"....if you have wet sand under your feet they cant do anything and that wet sand varys from day to day, they may complain about it, cause a uproar whatever thats all it will be.. its public...but if you have your stuff up 3 feet or so on dry sand in front of there property i.e private home , hotel resort your tresspassing ..... its a fine line in the sand, but as long as its "wet" your ok, just dont get in a spat with the people complaining either, if a law enfor Officer comes make him get his feet wet to talk to ya, beacause thats neutral ground and no one will be tresspassing.....sea-ya mike
