St. Augustine

Fished both most of Saturday and all day Sunday. My friend and i tried most of the areas around st. augustine that were suggested to us by the guys at Avid Angler. We tried the surf in the morning with peeled shrimp and fiddler crabs and had no luck then moved to the pier under the Vilano with the same bait and produced a bunch of pinfish and only saw a few stingray and one small sheep head caught. The most successful spot for us came sunday when we walked to the rocks in anastasia park. we got a number of hits only to lose fish (and our tackle) in the rocks. We did catch a Spottail pinfish around a pound and a few whiting. Maybe we can get the hang of the area and have a better report next weekend. :thumright:

thanx for your report up that away. :) better luck next time. maybe you might get some
redfish up there since the fish should start to move from south to north. 8)
