Well I went out today with a buddy and cought these two bass, It feels really good to finally catch something out there after the cold blast.

Nice bass and peacock, welcome to the forum.
If you only fish freshwater you should try for some freshie snook or tarpon, I one day want to get one.

I've done that and loved it, so far I've gotten a snook (released, but pictured ) and almost cought a tarpon I fought for over 10 minutes only to brake the line at the end, my lines are only for 6 pound bass and the son of a gun was at least 8lb fighting like you wouldn't belive with all the typical jumps, There is a lake by my house that has plenty of both.

I got out yesterday for about 45 mins. Ended up catching 2 small bass. extremely excited to see them over there as its a shallow lake/canal extension. I would have liked to fish longer but the fam wanted their time too I missed about 4 other hits so it will be nice to get back out there once I have another hour ! Maybe I can grab up some shiners and see what peas are around. It was a little to dark and murky to sight fish for me yesterday ! Nice Fish BTW
