Mojo and all others,

Thanks for the tip on the yellow bait house. Those are the liveliest shrimp I have ever purchased from a bait shop. I think they spike the shrimp tanks with RED BULL.....

It was a shame that it was such a nasty and rainy day. The Keys was a washout but I still enjoyed the trip....

Just wanted to asked if they sell live crabs. I have always pass by that bait house and never stop in. I guess from what im hearing they are really good. By the way how are there prices.

I don't remember the name but the bait store just before you hit the Keys is open 24/7. It has no doors.

In Florida city right before you get on the stretch you have what was formerly known as jacks which will be open all night and day, it is now owned by Rick and is called yellow bait house, but it still does have the big jacks sign up top.

A little north of jacks in homestead you have dons bait and tackle which is run by Ashely, great guy and they open up at 5am.

Most keys bait shops usually open up at 6 to 6:30am. Just plan accordingly.
