That is all of 16 lbs and possibly close to 17 in my book... EVEN when holding it out away from you, impressive! Great Job! There are still some slobs around!

As I said before
Backwoods123, Very nice looking mutton, good job pulling him out of there :toast: :toast: :toast:
The current in that place rips at times, I know you must have had great fun taking that slob out of there.

In that current you don't have any room for mistakes. Good job on a very nice fish. Keep the reports coming.

Rijkaard wrote:That's a hell of a mutton from land! Judging ONLY by the picture it can be anywhere between 12 and 18 lbs, it all depends on the shoulders and thickness, I've caught 27" muttons that were heavier than a 32"
exactly, thanks bro.. so maybe next time i shuld take a pic of its width next time too so that all the "experts"on here can see how thick it is so they can predict the weight a little better... i think my favorite comment was the one that said... " not 17 pounds maybe 17 inch"...man i guess dude must be blind, either that or he just wishes he was the one holding that fish... not trying to start issues on here but if ya got something negative to say just go to a diff thread topic.

jezzzz Who cares what it weighed if it was a tournament or something then it might matter.... its a nice fish no matter if it was 8 or 18 lbs
especially from shore.

and people wonder why there are sometimes no reports....
