Key Largo Area Fishing

I will be spending a few days in the Key Largo area in mid July with my family. I have never been fishing in Key Largo. The place where we are staying has a private jetty that we can fish. Can anyone suggest other places to take my son fishing in the area. Also, what type of fish can we expect to see, and what rig/bait should we use? Thanks in advance for the help.
