Keys fishing trip in July.

I'm a new member to this board and mostly a surf fisher from Jacksonville Florida. I plan to take my dad fishing this July when he comes in town to visit. I wanted to take him somewhere new so I thought the keys would be perfect for targeting new fish in a great environment. I definately plan on doing some bridge fishing but I have some questions about other locations and techniques.
1. Are there any beaches where I can surf cast like I'm used to?
2. Are there any good piers or are bridges the substitute?
3. Charters are far more money than they are worth. So I was wondering if anyone knew of a party boat type service that does bottom fishing over the reefs?
4. Which islands should we focus on in July and which should we avoid?

Fish Channel 2 or 5 followed by Long Key. The Gulfstream in Key Largo would be my choice for party boat followed by Robbie's.

the gulf stream wud be a great choice depending on your skill level or if u wanna make it a all day thing, if not do the sailors choice boat its half day
