"boatless" lobstering in the Keys

I need a little help, I really want to go lobstering in the keys but dont have a boat, I just need a spot from shore or the shallow flats where lobster is found. I hear snake creek is a good spot, but I want a little input from you guys, care to share any knowledge?

I have caught a pile of them at the snake creek bridge, you gotta catch the tide right and use a flag. Post up if you find any up that way.

As john mentioned you gotta get the tide right and watch the currents, if not its going to get ugly real quick.

Thanks for the input, I did notice how snake creek is narrow and could be dangerous on the wrong tide as I don't want to be swept away to Cuba well at least not till Castro leaves, when I was down there a month ago several guys were lobstering on the gulf side along random roadside spots and small bridges but looked dangerous, I saw so many jetskis and boaters just tear through there.

Yea man, just try different spots and just check them out first to see whatt you are working with, go with a buddy if you can.

I've seen guys do pretty good on the south end of Channel 5. Not in the bridge channel, but in the shallower area directly across from the parking lot, on the south side. Make sure you have a flag.

the rocks on the south eastern side of channel two have lobsters too.
