I have been surf casting for about five years in vero beach and this year decided to try my hand at crappie fishing. So far have just tried Stick Marsh by the boat launch with little success. Greg

dont give up on the stick marsh. I have caught crappie at the boat launch area before, especially after a cold front. Missouri minnows work real well. If you are into a long walk or better, if you have a bike, go down the north-south levee by the boat ramp. Go all the way south to the first spillway at farm 13, lots of crappie and bass there. Not sure if the levee is legal to walk or bike on, check the signs first.
