Had to take the 90 mile drive to Tampa yesterday and threw some gear in the back. Got to the south pier about 3:30.
Lots of bait. caught a few mangrove snapper and a couple decent flounders on the white bait I grabbed with a sabiki rig.
Had a few bite offs from something toothy...probably mackerel because I spotted a few nice kings other people caught on my way out. Next time I'll bring some wire.

was out there today. the wind brought in alot of nice sized macs. i saw a 20+ lb king caught today too!
