Coming back to try the bridges again Monday Aug 18th -22nd from Milwaukee . I'll have my laminated copy of Tommy's keys to nailing fish with me this time !! If anyones out and about next week on a bridge feel free to hit me up and say hi :dude:

A buddy and I are staying at a hotel just outside of Islamorada, we'll start at channel 2 and move further south depending on what the fish tell us to do.
I don't know what it is...It's not a walleye.

BTW, tackle I am talking about is 60 LB Mono and 50 LB leader :jester:
Sometimes, problem may not be tackle but how hook is set, how much your line is frayed during the fight, and how long your rod is...

I hear ya. Last time down we learned the hard way that braid around bridges is NOT the way to go. We've got 4 days..I just want to catch dinner once !! :reeling:

If you happen to catch lady fish, fillet it for bait and the fresh lady fillet (.5" by 2" size) would be killer bait.
Two weeks ago, I caught about 8 fish straight in a short duration. (7 grover and 1 jack).
Bite was so strong and I can even felt their chewing... :reeling:
