Keys and Redbone Charity Walk 3/28-3/30

Post by mikeypbg »

Hey guys,
I'm heading down to the keys this Friday and staying until Sunday. I am going fishing and participating in a Redbone 5K Walk for the Cure at the Founders Park just North of World Wide Sportsman area. For those of you that dont know, Redbone is an organization started by a fishing guide in the keys, dedicated to "Catching the Cure for Cystic Fibrosis". The walk is an annual event and is usually a lot of fun, especially because of the guys at the finish line with a cooler full of margaritas.

If anyone has interest in participating in the walk, please let me know. I would love to try and get some participation from Boatless. For anyone that participates, I will make a donation for you, on behalf of www.Boatlessfishing.com (amt TBD). There is usually a lunch afterwards and its just a really nice day. If you would like to participate, let me know by sometime on Thurs. so I can make it happen.

I plan on fishing Fri. night until its time to do that walk, then relaxing for the day and fishing again Sat. night- Sunday and heading back. We will likely stay near Islamorada area but may push further south depending on how we feel.

I know I spoke to some of you guys about this trip and I wanted to open the door to anyone interested in fishing down in the keys this weekend. So hit me up via PM.

Hope to see you there.
