if you are into wade fishing bear point is great for trout and snook. Follow the trail about another 1/4 to 1/2 mile past the pier and wade out. You can also try vittolo park, just a couple of miles north on A1A of bear point. There is a fishing pier at the end of the road and to the right on the trail.

Thanks all, I will check out Vittolo park next week. We drove through the gate to the end. They have a pretty decent pier, about 500 feet or so. They also have small ones that is for bird watching.

i made a mistake, vittolo park is a couple of miles south of bear point, look for sign showing entrance. park your car at end of road and walk to the right to get to pier.
