West coast Yak trip

We have been looking forward to this trip all week, as the kings had finally showed up early last week chasing macks under the watchful eye of some over head friggits. I met up with Permit 53 at 7am. Got some Blue Runners and some other bait on a nearshore reef then headed out for deeper water. 10 minutes after we get set up Permit 53 is hooked up. A nice King that drug him around for the better part of 15 minutes. All the while I was waiting my turn, while doing the best I could to keep lines and other obstacles out of the way. It was a great day. My contribution was bait, Permit 53 provided the entertainment, and the king (pictured below) provided the meal....

team fin addicts quick question, how are you getting your crate to fit there? I'm asking because I've found out the scrambler doesn't quite have enough space, planning on cutting my crate down a little.

the crate sits on the "edges" the cinch straps run through the crate holes to secure it. Seems to work out very well. It doesn't move at all and it holds rods, tackle and almost anything else you can think of.
