16' Alumacraft

Selling a nice 1992 alumacraft side console. Hull is all welded, dry as a bone. Has a tunnel hull, fish finder, yamaha 40 2 stroke, 12 gallon gas tank, poling platform, 55lb trolling motor with brand new battery, 2nd battery for accessories and starting also good.

All paperwork is good, registration expires 02/15

Lil bumpy in a chop, but a more stable shallow water fishing platform you're not gonna find. Fished these for years in Canada for Musky and the Keys for Tarpon and bonefish. One other thing, trolling motors work great on these boats! And this is a perfect setup! This would be ideal for you and the band Anthony! Lol I'd buy it, but one's enough!

may I ask why you don't like the 40 hp? is it because of the gas?

I have a 25 Rude (2 stroke) manual start on a very old 16 ft Lowe, that I'm very familiar with for repair and maintenance.

That being said i also feel that if the starting battery got weak or died, i would have trouble manual starting a 40 hp. I also do not need the extra hp since i mainly fish solo. I also don't like the extra weight of the larger engine since i would be mainly fishing near the stern and since i'm pushing 200 lbs, that is a lot of weight on the back of a light alum boat.

I would be interested in your boat without the engine.

you wouldnt have an issue pulling it ive had to pull a friends 60 a couple times

Thanks for the reply, but I'm probably 30 years older than you Joe and my shoulder ain't what it use to be. My days of solo boating are unfortunately fast coming to a close, and is the main reason I have been studying your posts here on this forum, since i have recently returned to bridge fishing after a fifty year pause. LOL ( I use to fish the keys bridges over a half century ago).
