Piers/Beaches for Fishing

We have been primarily fishing the Sunshine Skyway Piers the last month. We are looking at bringing our 5th wheel from Orlando to the Gulf Coast for 1-2 weeks before we head back to Indiana. Are there some piers or beach fishing places in this part of the state that you feel are better than the Skyway Piers to fish from? Thanks
