bridge fishing in st. george island area

can anyone advise if there are any bridges in st. george fl area to fish from. Somenone told me about bryant patton bridge,but cant find any info on whether it is open for fishing. any help would be appreciated.

You can fish on the bridge that goes to the island but i don't know the name of it. Also east side of the bridge that goes to apalach is very good and holds tarpon in the summer.

I was just there 2 weeks ago. Crossing the new bridge towards SGI take left as the new bridge ends and look for the old bridge. It goes out about a half mile into the bay back towards Eastpoint. Try jigging gotcha plugs directly under the bridge for small grouper and some really nice spanish(I had one one that went 6lbs but lost it due to the wind sailing my bridge net away from fish. The guys beside me probably caught 10 that day and the littlest one was 2lbs. Later in the year you can do reallywell on flounder. The water even at the end doesn't get over 10ft.
