Report Laishely Pier 4/25/07

Went out around 6:30-7:00pm got out there had a spoon rigged up on my light rod 2 casts and a catch a little ladyfish throw it on my snook rod and put em under there pier.Switch over to frozen shrimp and catch a nice sized silver trout then a small speckled trout.Switched back to throwing lure only got 1 hit and lost what ever it was so I switched back to shrimp and catch a nice lil sugar trout/sand perch rig up my other snook rod and put him under the pier.Around 8:00pm I decided I better be going towards the begining of the pier.I get down there and my ladyfish is still kicking to my amazement.And my sugar trout was dead I thought what the hey I'll drop em down and see what happens.So I started throwing lures nothing at all.Then my rod with the dead sugar trout starts going off.Went over set the hook and pulled out this:

Decided I'd keep it cause I hadnt had snook in years went 30in.Called it a nite and went home.

Cannot wait till the next time I get to fish W coast of FL. I like it there !

Yeah it went 29in and the I was useing a 3/0 circle hook with about 4ft of 40lb leader and a swivel above that with a 1/4oz sinker.Only the third keeper sized snook I've caught.
