Bonita Springs Help

Hey guys im staying at a hotel on the bay in bonita springs and i was wondering if there was any good fishing in the bay off the shore. If so, what is there to catch. I will also give the beach side a shot, figure maybe some snook, ladyfish, mackeral .etc What will be my best bet at catching some fish and if anyone knows any places in the area that are producing well id love to try it.

From what I've heard theres been some redtide down that way.But Snook should be on the beaches try some live shrimp or lures such as jigs or some type of rapala and even topwaters if its not too chopy which is probably at dawn or dusk.I've had luck using a jig head and frozen shrimp I usually take the head off and string the body on the jig head.Theres also probably some Whiting around somewhere.I get a bag of frozen shrimp and peel them and put them on a carolina rig.I normally use a size 1 J hook.This would probably work well for Reds and Trout as JB was talking about.Just replace the dead shrimp with live ones.
