I think is permanent. New hours from June 2nd. Been there on morning of 3rd just to buy some bait. Gate locked. Those ant brains at Dania city hit again.
So they start charging 3 bucks to fish and parking is 5 for 3 hours week days. That is 8 bucks for 3 hours fishing. Probably the pier income dropped seriously. The solution? Cut costs, fire the night shift. Smart, eh? If there is a fisher at the city commission I bet he has a boat. They have no clue about pier business.
A pier is a recreational place like a park. It's a community expense. The same as Police and Fire Fighting. It is for public good. They still treat it like a business. Wrong.
