yes because there are no reports on the Anglins thread. If people are relying on posts here to actually get out and go fishing they will never catch anything. Just go fishing rather than waiting to find out what happened yesterday.

Where are there pictures of dead billfish ? Last I checked your a man if you hate the site then leave why dare the admins to ban you ? It's not like there is some large amount of reports from any pier even Dania. As far as Deerfield and Juno most of the regulars that used to post are no longer active on the site. I will agree with you that the reports can flood an area if its been hot but then again this site is about helping people out last I checked. Let people ask and wonder how the fishing is while the rest of us fish. If people are waiting on reports to go then they will most likely miss the bite anyways. A lot of regulars here no longer post for the same concerns that you have. This topic has been brought up before here. I just wonder how some people caught fish before the internet.

People don't post here coz they don't want others to go and fish on that pier if the fishing is hot.
I always post if I go out especially if I go to Juno.The regulars hate any one other then themselves fishing on that pier.I was told a few times to stay in Miami coz I was not welcomed at Juno.And then the same person asked me 5 min later if he can use my pier net to net his Snook.So I will always post about Juno every time I go there.
About Dania.Yesterday I was there all day and fishing was pretty good with a decent amount of Mackerel being caught.Today was a different day.A few dozen mack's came up and i saw some herrings as well.
honestly, i learned most of what i know about fishing on this site and with the instruction of my bud Juan (swordfish)...
this site is NOT the worst thing to happen to public fishing....if anything its educating people so when we do go out there we're not dipchit googans messing the fishing up for everyone. Even if the pier is crowded if you know what you're doing you'll get fish.
I agree, you shouldn't depend on reports on the forum to go out and fish...hell i spent alot of time at the rick of all places this winter slaying macks and i posted a bunch of reports and no one ever came. Just fish and post if you want to, and if you dont thats cool too.
On the flipside, some guys are making a long trip to the piers..i myself live near FIU south all the way in west dade...so its nice having a heads up before making such a long drive...but i usually call the pier and go by wind direction etc.....
If people are catching kings at the pier why would they say anything to bring more people out there that have no clue as well as cobia from the pier why would you say anything so people can try to fish for cobia or kings that have no clue that's how things get banned like double rod trolleys and what not

as far as i know, there arent many people on here that fish deerfield. i fish there when i can but ive been busy with school and have not had time to get out. i always write up a report if i go, but lately deerfield has had nothing going on as far as I know. especially with the Tee being closed, and who knows if its gonna open anytime soon. but if you know any different reports from DFP feel free to message me. But lately there has been Nothing exciting to talk about.

Nope never saw that post or commented on it. If I had I would have agreed with you on releasing it. I'd have to say I dont agree that this site will not allow dead sharks pictures but dead billfish are allowed. It's not my call as its not my site. If you started an online petition on the matter I'd support your cause.

That's one of the main reason's I read the reports, I live in West Palm and don't want to drive all the way out to Bill Bagg's or the Rick only to find that not only is the bite totally off but there's no bait, nothing going on at all. These reports help everyone out. If the bite is on at a pier, look people be realistic, a pier is NOT a secret spot. People find out, simple as that. By the way I went out to Snook Island today and for whatever reason the fishing pier was CLOSED. I also posted this noticed on the appropriate post for Snook Island. See how it works? Hopefully my post will be read by someone who was preparing to drive a long distance to Snook Island, and they won't have to drive all that way for nothing. THAT is how this site and these posts HELP people. CHEERS!
some where posting butchered sharks to get a rise and many here do not like to see butchered sharks and I hold the keys to this site and I DO Not like to see it so yes I decided solely on my dislike to ban that type of posting even though many agreed that they did not like it either.
As for Billfish and killing them and exploiting that, I agree not cool and I never saw that post until now sorry to say.
I would gladly make such a rule for them all one had to do was ask and let us give feed back and it would have happened " I Think".
I made the title of this post because i believe there was a better way to say something then how this was brought up. I meant no disrespect it just seemed to work as a title.
As for Pier reports we appreciate them but it is not mandatory nor do I insist that people do them, but is it great to see and read them. At the time of this post all I know that was caught was crap loads of DINK Mackerel and that is not epic or something special to me, I haven't even fished in the last 4 months and I would not say that the fishing was good until this last week and half and yes if the wind was blowing out of the SE the fishing has been good on Anglins Fishing Pier..
So those that want Dead Billfish Pics banned say it and we will then make a decision on it.
Sorry I have been busy and not moderating as much the last 3 months and I hope things will calm down so I have more time .
Scotty all you had to do was PM me or come and stop by and say hi and talk to me about your concerns and its all easy to solve.
