Hallandale Beach fishing

I know this is a little early but i am going to hallandale beach in january. I have a place right on the inter coastal and looking what might be biting around that time. I may have a kayak to try dumfoundling bay which i am about a mile from north. I am walking distance from the beach and may bring my surf pole. any tips would be awesome. thank you

If you do bring a kayak then look at the South Florida Kayak group on meetup.com. I'm part of that group and they will give you alot of information about the local kayak fishing. We've done some trips to Dumbfoundland Bay. I can say the bite was not much the two times I've been there. May want to try either Pelican Harbor or Morningside.
