Shimano corp stands by their waranty 200%

In october I broke my Shimano calcutta rod flipping a maybe 4lb mackeral on Pompano pier. I fished the rod for 2 years before that,,, well after months of backorder it finally arrived,, UPS guy comes into my shop with a huge tube today , I signed I opened and to my suprize there were 2 Shimano teramar 7' med heavy rods .The calcutta rods were discontinued so they sent 2 teramars. It took awhile but they have 1 satisfied customer here.. they look like they will make fine Pompano jigging rods.

Please post the address and phone number you used. I have something to send them. did you need your receipt or any paperwork ?

I just emailed them,, told them the rod was a gift and they gave me the address in california to mail it to,,,, No receipt was needed,, it did take a couple of months to get my replacements,,, make sure when you send it you get a tracking and confirmation on your postage... this is the email addy I used fishsitefeedback@shimano.com.. good luck with your return
