Couldn't sleep that morning so I went out to my local spillway and netted up some finger mullets and headed over to Dania beach. The wind was howling and the waves were in the vicinity of the 5' mark. Lots and lots of seaweed. I caught several micro bluefish around 11-12 inches and then with my last live finger got hit about 15 yards offshore by this beautiful 27.5" snook. Felt like a monster due to the 50 pounds of seaweed that I brought up with it. Quick pic and released to get a little bigger for our next meeting. Windy, overcast day but fun none the less. By the way, the pier sure looks nice. I cant wait to get out on that T again next month!!!!
