Most fish around here hit head first, but still would be interesting to try it.

u want longer jigs worked fast for the fast fish like the kings and pelagics. the shorter slow jigs are more for snapper and cobia and grouper

The long ribbon fish jig i am talking about is longer than typical fast-jerking long jig...I will show you...

Here are picture of long jig I was talking about. I got four hook up with this jig. three was hook cut off and one in my cooler. never lost the jig.
I got some teeth marks on mid-upper section.

To compare it with typical long jig. I got two bites on typical long jigs and lost jig at both bites.
