Hollywood beach fishing

Post by Chevy Juan »

does anybody know if fishing is allowed in Hollywood Beach adjacent to the boardwalk which is known as the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk?

I'm not up north that much so I wanted to know as I may be in that area during the weekend and wanted to fish the surf incase I saw bait around.

yes, early in the morning before the lifeguards come out. There are schools of mullet migrating south now, with tarpon, snook and jacks chasing them. Also some pompano are coming through now, although most are all undersized. Walk north towards the Dania pier.

You can fish after 6pm, when the lifeguards go home as well.
