Thats an interesting question, until recently I did not think they had shrimp there.. the shrimp in the south are caught on outgoing tides as the shrimp come up out of the grass and ride the tide to get out in the ocean to spawn.

Last year I saw a few post about Hillsbourough Inlet and it seemed that people are seeing/catching shrimp on the incomming. If that is the case they must be caught up inside the gulf stream and pulled in by the wind & tides.
My shrimping buddy moved to Pompano si fi they do run in any quantities I'd like to know as it would be easier that pulling the boat and trailering to dade.

Shrimp are starting to run in dade, heard good reports of last Wednesday nite and Saturday nite, but very slow on Friday night.
