X2. It's a great idea and super cart design GK but without a pivot point the stress is going to snap that connection to the bike for sure at 35 MPH........ and probably anything over 15 not to mention limiting the turning radius. Consider adding the pivot and additionally lowering the point the cart attaches to the frame to the level of the rear axle which would be easy. You've got such a sweet idea here and definitely worth doing right. Good luck
Those old queen slave owners that wrote our Constitution 200 years ago were brilliant.
"Every four years Americans get the President they deserve".
It looks like you heated and bent your "gooseneck". I would probably add a gusset or kicker attached on either side of the bend. You could also cannibalize something from the shopping cart that would work for a gooseneck. If you look up bike trailer hitches, you can find great ideas for a pivot point
This will allow you to go to MANY amazing places down there... That being said, be careful bud, it is still a motorized vehicle, so you may have a little hassle with FWC or other LEO. I used to fish it with a moped, then got a ticket for being back there, cuz u know I was a criminal and all, with my evil fly fishing rod and my catch and release attitude.
Fl. did pass an exemption for electric bikes that allowed them to go places where motorized vehicles are not allowed. There is a top speed limitation in that law, I can't remember. The rig you got there will definitely get you places an electric bike won't and is a heck of a lot more fun.
