new port accuallt looks smaller then most piers. i was out there a few weeks ago, and anybody correct me if im wrong but i i feel as dania/pompano are longer!

Washington state has floating bridges for I-90 and state route 520 because the water is too deep for supporting piers. They use a combination of caisson floats with support wires to the bottom.

Yeah a dolphin from a pier would be cool.

between Cobia,or Ling as they call em and months long king fish runs, they got one awesome fishery up there.

Navarre is a great pier and a darn long walk when nature calls....I prefer Gulf Shores....cleaning tables and bathrooms half way out....around where the end of the old used to be(850ft), and when fish we would see fish busting bait just past casting distance....now we are there in the middle of it all

Dolphin in the fall are caught off several of the gulf coast piers (pensacola,navarre,and panama city's 2)
Okaloosa has a flipper problem and gulf shores any more has a shark problem, with getting good fish to the pier without getting ate
