im taking a roadtrip up the west side

well like it says im gonna take a road trip up the west towards the end of may my plan is to fish panama city pier for a couple of days with the hopes of cobia but who the hells knows how my luck will be

so here is my question for yall any suggestions on where to fish beside the pier

im gonna leave sunday night and hit the skyway all day monday then monday night start driveing north

Joe you are gonna be at the tail end of the run. Probably need to go a little farther west. Say Ft Walton or even Pcola. PCB is a good 8 hr run from Tampa. You probably know all 3 areas have their own local forum to do research. Be prepared for the same crowds that shows up when the silver jacks come to town.

if you are interested, i can PM you a real good spot for snook a little south of Sarasota. It is about 20 minutes west of I-75, by the intercoastal waterway. I know it is not a spot for cobes, but it is a good spot to spend about an hour or two while on your journey.
