Custom reel handle

Screwen around with more aluminum.....kinda threw this together to see if it was worth doin.....gotta map it out more so theres a better fit to the reel(legnth and turning radius)...I think i could pull off a pretty nice handle this way

Anyone have any experience in polishing aluminum??Maybe just go down to like a 400-600 grit sand paper then buff it?

By the way the hadle is just the spacer, im going to lathe up a nice walnut or cherry handle

dunnno like 5 bucks for one.....only cause of time it takes

umm give me some demension....overall legnth, turning radius, number of holes, and the demensions of the drive shaft.

cool project ill have to lathe up a handle to show you, i think im gunna go old school with a older penn style handle knob
