If you can get your hands on some bread from a day old store try this. The bread should be still soft,not hard stale. Put it in a bucket and add water to make a mash. The secret ingredient is Garlic Powder! Pour some in and mix it. This works great to chum up black mullet. For bait, take a small piece of white plastic worm,grub tail,etc and put it on a hair hook. A friend is a mullet king and all he uses for bait is a small piece of rubber white worm,tail etc. This guy catches beast bull mullet doing this and I have seen it for years as he buys ice from me. In the pickup are always a few spinners with floats and the white piece's are still on the hooks. Doughballs work but the plastice stays on the hook for many catches.
