I have been ask if we would like to help and I think it is a Great idea, many of us spend time in the keys and so helping someone down there is a great thing.

They are doing a house in the area of the Yellow Bait shack and what I would like to know is who else will come down there with me and help put a house together?

It would be for 5 or 6 hours on August 9 2008 Saturday.

Now if you commit you must show because they will be counting on us to help and this post is so I can get an idea if there is enough of us to get it done.

I hope many will take this opportunity and help.

So I will add more info as I see how many are willing to support this idea.

Myself and FISHY FACE may be in depends on how my work schedule works out. I will know bu July 30 if it is a go. I will offer any of the pier rats or anyone that needs to ride down with me if they are intrested in volunteering as well.

I think we will need to be there by 8:30am

There is an age of 16 or older I have been informed due to the fact it is a construction site, sorry but the younger ones will not be allowed on the site.

I will have info and everything together by Monday.

I would love to go but it looks like my schedule will not coorodinate with that day. It is a good cause and will generate lots of volunteers.

I used to do this is highschool =0) it's a lot of fun. Hopefully, Chris is off and we'll be there. Like he said, if anyone wants to tag along for the roadtrip, COME ON DOWN! =0)

I am in definately - BUT here is my plan -- if someone wants to join me for the weekend call me 954 895 6647 Justin. Here is the plan ------- Drive down Friday night sometime fish some spots till Sat morning -- meet up with the clan Sat morning -- do our job -- go to Anchor Inn Motel take a shower - eat - catch some shuteye for a few - and head down to Ch2 or 7 mile till Sunday afternoon. Anyone wanna do the same -- Split costs 1/2 - Leave Friday night sometime and come back Sunday night? Let me know

Well if its going to happen it always does, anyways I am sorry to say but it does not look like I can make it due to unforeseen work issue, like someone quiting out of the blue. Well if I can arrange it I will, I am still trying to schedule it out.

Both of our current builds are located in the Largo Gardens neighborhood of Key Largo and are just a block apart. To find the first building site, turn off of U.S. 1 onto Michele Drive, which is right next to the Yellow Bait House at MM 101.7 Oceanside, follow Michele Drive approximately five blocks and you will see the work site on the left side right on the corner of Michele and Sharon.

Im sorry but I cant make it, I forgot I scheduled a trip with Bobby and Ricky, possibly Pauly out of Cudjoe Key that weekend.

Sorry Tommy I can't make it this weekend. I'll catch the next one.

As it stands now i'm sick as a dog so we'll have to see how this plays out.

My plus 2 is gone. One was Logan(to young) the other was April(added fishing afterwards and she backed out. I'm still hoping to go though.

Tommy as of now i'm still up in the air. Question though. Do we bring anything? Tools wise or just another set of hands?

With my meds i'm feeling good enough to add a helping hand, so unless I wake up and feel like shiat i'll be there with bells on. How long should we plan on being there? Trying to get an idea of when i'll be back up here and how much time i'll get in for fishing.
